Fully funded and partially funded hearing aids with the Australian Government Hearing Services Program
- Enhance Hearing will check your eligibility for fully funded hearing aids and services through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP).
- Eligibility criteria applies.
- Conditions apply to clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
- Enhance Hearing will always offer a fully funded hearing aid solution under the HSP funded hearing aids.
- HSP clients can purchase a maintenance plan (max $50.40) covering batteries, earmold renewals, repairs, adjustments, tubing, wax guards, and cords.
- HSP clients can also choose to partially fund their hearing aids outside of the ‘free to client’ category.
- If you choose partially funded hearing aids, the balance payment is due at the fitting appointment.
Home visit appointments – available in most areas

- Open to everyone 18+ meeting health & safety criteria and subject to government restrictions (e.g., aged care facility bans).
- Costs must be paid the day before the appointment.
- Appointment costs:
- Private: $75 ($50 appointment + $25 travel)
- DVA & OHS: $25 (fully funded)
- DVA & OHS with Doctor’s Letter/nursing home: no additional cost
- Work Cover clients: no cost
- Fee can be credited toward hearing aid purchase
- Enhance Hearing may waive the fee at its discretion
Hearing Test free of charge (also known as a screening or hearing check):
- Free for everyone 18 years and over.
- A basic check to determine if hearing loss is present.
- Advanced hearing assessments may be recommended and are covered under HSP for eligible clients. Conditions apply.
Advanced Hearing Assessment (Comprehensive Hearing Assessment) at no cost:
- Free for select customers.
- Fully/partially reimbursed by HSP for eligible clients. Conditions apply.
- Offer available to individuals 18 and older.

- Refund/exchange not granted if items are damaged, lost, or not returned.
